Courtois – 7 – had one save to make from a long range free kick and tended to spend game on his line leaving crosses to his defence
Azpilicueta – 9 – An accomplished performance from the Spaniard, arguably best defender in the league.
Luiz – 7 – Has less to do these days, playing more like a sweeper – no errors much to Redknapp’s disdain.
Cahill – 7 – Recovered from earlier dip in form and looking assured and leading team well.
Moses – 9 – Constant threat down the flank and assured defensively too. End product will come.
Alonso – 7 – Was less involved than Moses down the flank, but quietly going about his business well, did look shaky in the opening 5 minutes.
Matic – 8 – Looking much more like the player he was the season before last when Chelsea won the title. Welcome back.
Kante – 9 – Kante can be summed up by pressing a loose ball in the last minute – winning it and finding a team mate. Duracell bunny.
Pedro – 7 – has improved in recent weeks and seems to be unlucky in attacking situations but his pressing game is crucial to team’s success.
Hazard – 8 – A goal, assist – albeit a simple pass, a ludicrously good pass in the second half too – but seemed to spend the 70% of the game walking.
Costa – 9 – His superb second half strike was wonderful to see bending in, but his willingness to run in behind and stretch the play as well as chase back to pressure the opponents was as pleasing to see.
Willian – 6 – A cameo role off the bench might have brought a goal is a little rusty.
Ivanovic – 6 – A late replacement for Moses and played some nice passes.
Batshuayi – 6 – With Costa in such form the poor lad is getting injury time. His time will come.
based on nothing but my opinion.
